B.E. TIME EXACT – DATE guaranty is available via our published Express LTL services at www.belogistics.com/timexact_terms.aspx. The service guaranty is Carrier’s delivery, or attempted delivery, of a shipment in accordance with normal transit standards in effect at time of the shipment when such shipment in accepted by carrier by 1700 hours local time and subject to the provisions published via www.airbill.com/beterms. Failure to deliver shipment(s) by 2359 hours local standard time on the scheduled delivery date, subject to certain exclusions, will not receive shipment charges. After 1700 hours local standard time deliveries are late only when consignee’s receiving department is closed. Local deliveries only. Beyond deliveries are subject to additional time in transit. Shipper must request TIME EXACT – DATE on the original bill of lading. Shipper must provide complete consignee contact information, properly labeled pieces, and all relevant delivery information on the original bill of lading.

B.E.LOGISTICS will reserve the right to accept or refuse a corrected bill of lading to add, change or remove a request for TIME EXACT - DATE service.

Shipper must tender the shipment(s) to the carrier by 1700 hours local standard time on the date of pickup for standard Express LTL transit and the TIME EXACT –DATE service.

The charge for TIME EXACT – DATE service does not include any other service(s). Charges for other service(s) will apply as provided in the shipper’s tariff and belogistics.com.

TIME EXACT – DATE is available only for shipments destined within the 48 contiguous states of the USA. If the customer refuses the shipment or is unable to receive the shipment, full charges will still apply, however the guarantee will not apply. The signed delivery receipt will be used to identify when the shipment was tendered for delivery. In the event the day and/or time is not indicated on the delivery receipt, the service requirements the shipment will be considered to have been met.

TIME EXACT – DATE guarantee and the additional charges will not apply as stated in the event the carrier is unable to deliver the shipment within the time and date specified due to causes beyond the control of carrier, including, but not limited to: acts of God, acts or omissions by shipper or consignee, existence of possible disturbance or violence which may cause danger, Government regulations, orders or requirements, riots, severe weather or other disaster that disrupts transportation, strikes or labor disputes. Carrier reserves the right to exclude the shipment(s) from this guarantee.

CHARGES: Shipments for which TIME EXACT – DATE delivery is requested and provided, in addition to all other charges, will be subject to a 20% premium to shipping charges for door-to-door delivery exclusive to any and all applicable assessorial charges outside of transportation charges but not less than the minimum TIME EXACT – DATE charge of $45.00. The charge for TIME EXACT – DATE does not include any other services.

B.E. TIME EXACT – DATE service does not apply to the following shipments:

  • shipments originating or destined anywhere outside the 48 contiguous states of the USA.
  • not properly packaged or labeled freight
  • delays due to missing or inaccurate shipment information
  • shipments requiring any special handling, including temperature control
  • shipments requiring special equipment for delivery including liftgate delivery, forklift, additional manpower, etc.
  • appointment deliveries
  • hazardous materials
  • hazardous materials
